Starting from June 25th, the temperature in Huichang, Ganzhou has been continuously rising, with the highest temperature exceeding 37 ℃ on July 1st. During the filling stage, rice is subjected to continuous heat disasters such as sunny and hot weather, which can easily lead to early ripening and empty shells, affecting yield. In the pilot smart farm in Chetianwei Village, Baoguang Street, Gaozhou City, thousands of acres of early rice ears are full, and many harvesters work in the paddy fields. The rice production here has achieved full mechanization, reducing labor costs while also increasing grain yield. The reporter learned from Gaozhou Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau that the sown area of early rice in Gaozhou this year is more than 400000 mu, and the harvest has exceeded 30%. It is expected that all the harvest will be completed in the middle of July.
